In response to the Surgeon General’s Call to Action to prevent and reduce underage drinking, more than 1,600 town hall meetings will take place all across the country in March and April 2008.

In a survey, revealed that 68. 8 percent of 12 th-graders, compared to 15. 5 percent of sixth-graders, admitted to using alcohol at some point during their lifetime.
