Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies discovered six bags of heroin inside the pants of a 14-year-old in Canyon Country after pulling the boy’s mother over in a traffic stop, authorities said Wednesday. The 31-year-old mother from Lake Los Angeles admitted she hid the bags in her son’s pants.

A Suny Canton student who committed suicide Sunday night is suspected to have taken a drug named “Molly,” which produces effects similar to Ecstasy. Police said they were searching for those who supplied him with the drug.
